THE SITE NO LONGER EXISTS. I cannot believe this is happening. It's been 41 days since I booked Mubers Moving Corp, and I have no idea where all my life belongings are located. I was swayed by Nicole as well with what seemed a competitive binding estimate and unfortunately chose this company for my last minute move across country. I was quoted $1335 but was made to pay $1170 (65% of the new price) after they finished loading. I asked the mover about an estimated delivery date but was told to contact the company. THEN all the disturbing problems started. None of my e-mails or phone calls have been followed up to date. When I was able to get through by phone, I was given various excuses that the driver couldn't be reached or their system was down. The other time when I was told that I would be followed up with in 20 minutes to an hour, I have also NEVER been called back. My calls have been screened as well -a family member got through the same morning/right after I was unable to get through several times. Once Nicole realized I was listening in on the conference call, she hung up the call.

Move size: Studio Service cost: $1800

This is by far the worst moving company that exists. They first quoted me a "fixed" price for all the items I was moving,promising me I "wouldn't be charged for a penny more"(their exact words) when the movers came and loaded everything into the truck they charged $500 more than the actual amount. Once they took our stuff and the money they wouldn't answer my calls, or emails, after I threatened to take them to court they said our stuff would be delivered a week after. All my stuff arrived shattered and boxes torn. They arrived in a different truck delivering my stuff by a whole different company. Whatever you do, don't go with Mubers moving. They are all crooks: Xavier,John, Nicole, and Jeanette.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1900

Having been burnt by a bad moving company before I entered into the process of moving my daughter from Yonkers to Orlando with some trepidation.  My fears have been put to rest by Mubers.  The move went off without a hitch.  Greg was up front about everything and he and his people did everything that they said they would do and a little more.  There were no surprise extras added onto the quote, they showed up when they said that they would and delivered my daughters belongings with care.  

It is relieving to see such an honest and trustworthy company in an industry that is plagued by dishonest companies.  I highly recommend that you consider giving Greg and Mubers consideration for your move.

These guys moved my family and I from PA to KY this has to be the best experience I have had with a moving company there customer service is wonderful they are very patient and thorough. They came to my home wrapped everything professionally and got everything on the truck by time they arrived in KY they were very nice got everything off the truck and assembled all my furniture right where I wanted it the saved me so much time and headache.

This is the WORST MOVING COMPANY !
When moving from NJ to FL, one criminal company - "Mubers Moving Corp." US DOT # 2893157 resold my order to these criminal elements - "Citi Movers LLC." US DOT #002840752.
Absolutely every piece of furniture is broken or badly scratched.
Repair will cost a lot of money! Many cardboard boxes are broken, opened .. Of the boxes, things disappeared.
Most of my things are not delivered at all (just kidnapped)!
Representatives of this company do not pay attention to calls. Promising to call back, do not call back. Total damage - many tens of thousands of dollars (more than $50,000) .This, only at first glance ..
Because, of their lack of professionalism, their desire to work (they forgot my things in the warehouse), I was forced to rent Penske truck - 16 feet (additionally !, and for my money!) And myself to deliver found in stock in FL !!
Total robbery + $2,000.

If someone came to my cardboard box with various things (bank documents, bills, bank checks in my name, etc.), please inform me and return for a remuneration please.
Among other things, there are photographs and documents of my deceased parents..

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $8000

Poor communication, unprofessional, unable to commit to delivery times, do not stick to their word, poorly handled furniture, scratches to the point where I got rid of everything, a complete and HUGE waste of my time, money, and patience. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!

MULTIPLE date changes/delays both on pick-up and on delivery due to "getting into an accident" and "moving truck broke down". No one seemed to have any idea what was going on ever. Company seems to double book, while never committing to times, and essentially taking on more than they can reasonably handle.

Pick-up crew loaded SPECIFIC furniture pieces I specifically stated I did not need if it was going to be put me over my quote. Did so anyways and charged me extra. Nicole had NO IDEA price was increased. Her "supervisor" Xavier also had no idea the final cost on delivery and quoted 2 incorrect prices on delivery demanding I pay before my furniture was unloaded. Would not accept a check when Nicole and I had SPECIFICALLY agreed check was fine and when half of my payment on pick-up had been paid in check.

Delivery crew did not have basic tools such as box-cutter, scissors, screwdrivers - had to use mine for furniture assembly.

Would not recommend wasting your time. Pay the extra premium for a REAL PROFESSIONAL moving company.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1700

I had a terrible experience with this company. They quoted me a good rate to move a table and couch 2 hours from one house to another. They couldn't make my original delivery date and gave me another window of 4 days a week later. While I was waiting for a confirmation of which date they were going to make, I got a call from the driver that he was 45 minutes away from the drop off -- but they never confirmed the delivery date. I was over 2 hours away and my husband had to drop everything and rush up to meet them. They charged me an additional $450! in waiting time, which put them well over the pricing of the other bids I got. Really disappointing given they never confirmed the delivery date and I would never use them again.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU USE THIS COMPANY!

I used them recently to move from NYC to VA and they were incredibly disorganized and unprofessional. After they picked up my stuff I had to call them multiple times in order to even begin to get a time frame for when they would drop it off. I called at least 5 times and each time they pushed the time frame later and later, even though the original quote said they would drop it off within 5 business days.

Several weeks later they showed up at my new house completely unannounced! No call, no email, no text, absolutely no heads up whatsoever.

They were very lucky I happened to be home that morning, but it was a very rude awakening to be woken up by the movers pounding on the door. After I let them in they they then told me I had to pay via Venmo. That's right - they DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS OR PERSONAL CHECKS - only venmo or cash. It was EXTREMELY SHADY AND UNPROFESSIONAL. They also lost one of my pieces of furniture.

I have contacted them a dozen times about a refund and they always give me the run around. The person who can authorize refunds apparently only works for one hour every morning. Again, extremely unprofessional. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Do not use Mubers Moving, particularly for long distance moves.
Mubers moved me from New Jersey to Florida. It has been over a month and I still don’t have a bed to sleep on.

I made the mistake of falling for Nicole’s (sales rep) seemingly great and quick communication in the beginning and the reasonable price quote. All of that changed after the movers picked up my belongings. After pickup, I strongly suspect Nicole started to screen my calls since I was only able to get a response from her through texts. The only time I was able to speak with her on the phone was when I used a different phone number to call.

The move cost almost two times what I was quoted, despite mentioning the dimensions of all my belongings when getting the quote. I would have accepted that had I received my belongings on time and undamaged (or at all, in the case of my missing furniture).

Mubers drastically underestimated the amount of time for delivery. I had been told 7-10 days for delivery, which was on the longer end for moving estimates I received. I figured that meant this estimate was reasonable and that they would actually deliver within the timeframe. Nicole had not mentioned that this was 7-10 business days, and their contract did not state so either. Despite the already long delivery time estimate, Mubers managed to take even longer, avoiding my inquiry calls regarding when I could expect delivery. Nicole would only text and promised several false dates. Like other reviewers have mentioned, the reason given for the delayed delivery was the truck breaking down (two times for my move per their driver). This seems like something that happens consistently with Mubers.

Mubers finally delivered after 3 weeks of picking up my things, with just one mover. I will give it to Larry (the driver/mover) that he was able to handle moving everything inside himself and was professional and courteous. The move, however, would have been a lot faster if they had provided a second person. Perhaps saving on costs and sending one mover is the reason they are greatly behind schedule.

I had just one piece of furniture that Mubers disassembled and I needed reassembled – my bed frame. Reassembly was not possible, however, because Mubers lost the 12 steel slats of my platform bed. Again, I was not able to reach Nicole or anyone at Mubers by phone. Nicole had once again chosen to text, citing that she had bad phone signal, and promised to look for my bed frame slats first thing in the morning or send me replacements. Just like trying to get a time estimate for delivery, I had to follow-up in order to get more false promises as to when they will actually look for my missing bed frame. At this point, I have given up. It has been over a week and a half since Mubers delivered and the last I heard a week ago is “we are currently working on finding your slats hopefully [the warehouse] will give me a definite today. Since we already delivered you the timing for 21 days is done if we have the slats in the warehouse I will get them out to you immediately if I do not I have to put a claim in for them which takes 30 to 60 Business days I have to follow protocol.”

Almost all my metal pieces had some kind of scratch or dent. I will give them credit for wrapping my wood pieces. I’m still waiting on how their claims work out. I’m not holding my breath.

Mubers claims to be a full service moving company, responsible for disassembling and reassembling. Yet, they have not accepted any responsibility for not being able to reassemble my one piece of furniture. They don’t have the professionalism to answer calls after they have your things and money.

For the price you’ll end up paying, despite a lower quote, go with a professional moving company. Avoid Mubers!

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3470

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE- unless of course you want to rent a u-haul last minute and lug all of your own stuff up and down the stairs!! We booked them weeks ago, were told they would arrive 10-12. No word by 12 so we called, "On way, there in 1/2 hour". Not! Driver then called and said he was in NJ on his way to another job in NYC before even coming to us in Queens!! All of this on Friday of Labor Day weekend- we kept calling office, left multiple voice messages, finally got through at 4 :00 and got chastised by them for being so upset!! Driver then called and said he had no idea when he could come (and didn't know where Astoria was!). We were stuck doing it ourselves, had to get a u haul from 1 hour away as none were available locally!! NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY!! Fair warning- use at your own risk..

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $595

Mubers Moving was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend using them again in the future. Everything from the estimate, to confirmations, to moving day was perfect. We moved from one property to another on different days and they were on-time both days. The moving crew was extremely careful with our belongings, brought extra trucks and manpower when required at no extra charge, and worked extremely hard. Nothing was damaged and they too great care when placing things in our new home. I cannot say enough about the crew that worked for us and I would highly recommend anyone contact them for their moving needs.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3000

Zero or negative stars is more appropriate. Having many problems with Mubers and no delivery date yet. Pick up for August 1st was delayed to August 2nd. Moving items from NJ to to SC. Binding quote went from approx 1700 to 2700 at pick up. So either they low balled or did not have experience to ask questions to correctly estimate, such as maybe actual size of items. We changed some items but not size wise. Despite reaching out to them, no delivery date yet - have been told: they are working on a schedule, this is their busy season, owner on vacation, they are experiencing delays, and often no answer to call or return phone call when told you will get an answer. Their contract says legally they have up to 21 days to deliver; however they said 2/3 to 10 days is typical. Well this has come and gone and no expected delivery date yet. We are left wondering IF or WHEN we will receive our belongings. Also, if they hopefully do deliver the items, that they are in the same condition as picked up with nothing missing - and waiting to hear on our complaint regarding substantial increase in price once items loaded. I will update as this fiasco continues. If the stress of moving is not enough, add in no answers, poor business practice, having to take additional unpaid time off work waiting, and living without furniture and other needed items. If we did our homework and checked Mubers out thoroughly and knew what the experience was going to be, we would not have used them. We are trying to assist family members in a quick move and have let them down. Customer beware, so you don't go through a similar experience. As I said, I will update review with outcome. I don't often do reviews, but need to start somewhere I dealign with this mess. Also, we were told our items were still in the warehouse, but it appears that our checks were cashed in Virginia. I also thought it unusual that they wanted checks and not credit cards, but was later told that credit cards offer additional protection to the consumer and more recourse if unsatisfied or problems occur. We are exploring our next steps now.

One of the worst moving company I came across with. I could have given zero stars if it permits. They do not have professionalism or courtesy towards the customers. While booking the service they will say something and talk very nicely, but while delivery they want to steal as much money as they want. I have very horrible experience with them today. They agreed for $850 to move the stuff from Landing, NJ to Stamford, CT and total distance is 80 miles and travel time is 1hour 30 minutes. They charged me 4 hours for labour at $140 per hour eventhough total time took it 2 hours. While booking they said they will charge 4 hours for now but while delivery they will calculate actual time and charge as per it. After they load the truck and started to Stamford, CT they called me and said they will charge 4 hours minimum $140×4=$560 plus $140 for travel time and remaining $150 for gas, milage and tolls. At the time of delivery they asked me to pay $150 more on top of initial $850. Actually I should be charged only 2 hours for labour as it took 1 hour for loading and 1 hour for unload. Avoid these scammers. As I did not pay extra money, and after they got $850 they unload the stuff right infront of the main entrance and left. They left the King Mattress in middle of the road. All the boxes, chest, 3 seater recliner sofa, Love seat and all the home stuff on main entrance. I do not recommend them for any moving services. They are cheaters and they want to be paid by cash. but while booking they said they will accept credit cards, checks and money orders also. But while delivery they give vague reasons to pay by cash like Credit cards are not accepted or their systems are down or there will be other service fee to pay by credit cards etc.. just to aviod consumer compliants with credit card providers. I strongly advice to keep away from these cheaters if you need peace of mind while moving and if you don't want to loose your hard earned money.

**WARNING, DONT USE THIS COMPANY**

They were supposed to come at 3PM to move me. They showed up at 11 PM and no one got in touch with us about being late until 9 PM. We called the company multiple times and no one knew why they were late. After arriving at 11 PM, the drivers were tired and were ready to be done with us. They DIDN'T cover any of my property with protective covers and just took everything and threw it into the car. But don't worry, they ensured to ask for a cigarette before leaving. They then took 1.5 hours to get to the final destination, which is a 40 minute drive at 12 AM. Upon reaching the destination, they told me that the company charges $75 to lift stuff for every floor above the first, but didn't take money because they were trying to do me a "favor." After, speaking to Jeanette and Gilbert (Muber employees), I was told that this was not true. THEY WERE TRYING TO MAKE MORE MONEY. Also, halfway through the move then asked for the full check and rushed me to give them the money b/c they were tired, it was late, and they wanted to leave. They took the money and provided me with NO documentation about the move at all! I HAVE NO PAPERWORK!! Also, as per Jeanette, the company doesn't take checks. So why did the drivers take it? They moved all of the furniture up into my apartment, and DESTROYED EVERYTHING!! The couch was torn, the wall of my apartment scratched, the table scratched, the chairs all terribly scratched, and THE WORST PART IS THAT THEY LEFT WITHOUT TAKING EVERYTHING OUT OF THE TRUCK!!THEY HAD COVERS IN THE TRUCK BUT WERE TO LAZY TO COVER IT. After realizing that all of my property was not in my apartment, I spoke to Gilbert and Jeanette who told me that they would get it to me the next day. IT TOOK A MONTH TO GET EVERYTHING BACK. Gilbert also promised a $130 check to be returned for me as I payed for 3 hours of service but they worked less than 2. Also, the list of items to be moved, that they created,wasn't accurate. However, Gilbert and Jeanette stopped answering my calls after hundreds on phone calls. They were repeatedly telling me that the drivers were oN their way to return my property and money, but somehow the jobs they were working every day I called "went too long." They didn't want to give me my money!! They are thieves! THEY ALSO SAID THAT THEY FILED AN INSURANCE CLAIM BUT DIDN'T SEND ANYONE OVER TO THE APARTMENT TO SEE THE DAMAGE. HOW CAN YOU FILE THE CLAIM W/O PICTURES?? JOHN TOLD ME THAT IT WAS FILED A DAY AFTER THE MOVE! REALLY?! Then I spoke to John, who called himself the "boss," but in reality isn't. He sent a driver to drop off my stuff and money 2 days ago. But guess what!! NO CHECK!! THEY DIDN'T BRING MY MONEY!! Then I called John and he said that he didn't know anything about money. They then blacklisted me and my wife, refused to answer the phone when we called, and called us back with blocked callerID. I just got married and they are refusing to return my money and just returned my property after a month of fighting with them! IT'S SCARY HOW THEY DON'T WANT TO WORK WITH ME. THEY WONT GIVE ME MY MONEY AND IM SURE THEY DIDN'T FILE AN INSURANCE CLAIM.

The worst scammers I've ever encountered. Lied about delivery time, tried to increase price by 50% at pick-up. Still have not delivered my things and will not release my things which I think haven't even left NYC. The move was supposed to be a 5 hour drive. I told them the latest date acceptable for delivery. Nicole promised that was no issue. I asked if they owned the delivery trucks. Nicole lied and said, yes. They do not own the trucks used for long distance delivery, as I am now finding out. I gave them all my belongings and have not seen them since. They operate like thugs. They won't respond in writing once they have your money and belongings, and the woman, Nicole, lies lies lies just to get your business; and once she does, lies just to get you off the phone. You have to call for days and once every 2-3 days, she'll pick up and tell you another lie. Literally has been lying to me for weeks. I asked them to give me the location of the warehouse where my items are stored since they have not been able to deliver them (5 hr drive) and Nicole after several calls from me said she would provide the address. Haven't heard from her in days despite numerous calls and emails. I really have not dealt with a filthier caliber of people in my 15 years in NYC. Do not use. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR THINGS AND DISAPPEAR. Spread the word. And whatever you do, be vigilant with hiring movers. I'm kicking myself for not just getting a U-Haul. That would have been so much less stressful and cheaper.

This is Mubers USDOT 2893157 number. It has been suspended! They do not have a license or insurance to pick up or deliver your goods. RUN FOR THE HILLS! BELIEVE all of the negative reviews on this page and none of the positive! Also WATCH OUT they own other moving companies too in the Tri State area..
Mubers charged us more then their "binding estimate". $1000.00 more! They are holding our furniture hostage because we refuse to pay the extra $1000.00. Why get an estimate if it is not close to what the real payment is? They delivered the furniture past the due date that the law provides. Then 3 hours before they brought the furniture to the house they called and said to make sure the payment is in cash. We did not have cash but even if we did, banks were closed. They picked up and tried to deliver the furniture after dark. Since we didn't have cash they kept our furniture and drove back from SC to NY. Now they say we can't have our furniture unless we pay an additional $1000.00 all in full, BEFORE they deliver the furniture. This is extortion. We asked for arbitration paperwork that should be provided by law from them. They refused unless we pay them in cash in full first! We do not know if any of our things are broken or stolen. We are now looking at legal action.

Absolutely incredible service!! I am completely blown away. From my first call to the office, I've been impressed. I first spoke with them and their kindness, compassion, and competence during a very chaotic time was beyond appreciated. I felt like a friend was helping me. In the moving date they came to do the actual move, and I was even more blown away. They were efficient, thorough, kind, careful, and truly saved the day. I can't thank you enough for helping me!
